Vintage Bank Cast Iron Elephant Bank on Pedestal

Description

For your consideration is a vintage cast iron, standing up, two-piece Elephant Coin Bank, measuring 5" tall X 2.5", on a base of 2 1/8", and weighing 15.4 ounces on my scale.
Place your coins in the top and they will stay inside the elephants belly until you unscrew the side.  The screw is NOT the original piece, and with a better fitting screw the elephant fits together beautifully.  I found no evidence of it previously being painted, except possibly the eyes.  This piece has the raised saddle and decorative blanket.  His finish is smooth, and you saw the photos of the interior rust.  One underside is marked A, and the other is marked B, as photographed.
No damage, but this item is missing the original screw, and has rust on the interior.  There could be a marker drawn under its left eye, which makes me wonder if the eyes were originally painted, or someone just played one day.
