Vintage Polkadot Redware Elephant Bank Shafford Japan Piggy Bank 1940s Trunk Up

Wonderful vintage figural elephant bank made of red clay. Black glaze with hand painted bright pink & yellow polkadots.  This adorable guy has his trunk up to bring you luck.  Most likely made in Japan.  Good condition with no chips or cracks but there is some wear to the hand painting. 6 3/4” tall, 3 1/2” diameter.
